Nabin K Bhattrai New album Slok in Markets.

Nabin K Bhattrai is well known name in Nepali Music Industry. This name does not need additional explanation in Nepali music. He has been in this field for more than 20 years. In this period he has brought 13 solo albums with more than 1000 recorded songs in all genre of music.

                

Recently, Nabin K Bhattrai has made come back to Nepali Music field again with his latest solo album named “Slok” which is a Sanskrit driven word which means phrase or a combination of lines in rhythm. He also told in a curiosity that “Slok” is the name of his son as well but this has no combination with the name of his album. It’s no more than a coincidence.

The market of Nepali Music Industry is not very good, whenever an artist comes up with an album its hard to compensate him with the costs involved in the overall compensation of the production of the album. He brought his 14^th solo album “slok” to keep and maintain the bond between him and his fans.

The name of the albums of Nabin K Bhattrai before this albums were, “jindagi”, “Raharai Raharma”, “AAbhas”, “Smriti”, “Samjhan”, “Nabin”, “the blue”, “Smriti Reloaded”. He is a composer, musician, lyricist as well. In most of his songs he loves to sing the song on his own composition, music and lyrics as well. He has provided his music in the Nepali Movies too. Yatra to vegas and challenge were his projects where he composed music . Nabin K Bhattrai is hopeful with his latest album “Slok”. Stereo Records has taken the responsibility for the marketing, distribution and promotion of his album. He has finished a music video for the promotion of this album and will be premiered on most of the Nepali TV stations

We all know Nepali Music is passing through a hard phase at the moment, it’s very difficult for an artist to survive without some stage shows , concerts or foreign shows. We rarely see artists performing inside Nepal as most of the artist prefer performing abroad for Nepalese residing abroad. The Top band 1974 AD is set to perform in Korea and has left Nepal for that. Similarly, Deepak Bajrachary and the Rhythm band is also in Australia for their program.

Kripa unplugged is the output of four individuals who made an effective contribution for the birth of this program, Shanta Nepali, Samir Jha, Aman Pratap Adhikari and Shiva Lamichhane. The show took birth at Kripa Dibya Drisiti Digital Recording Studio which is located in Teku, Kathamndu. But the second seasonhas returned with a lot of improvements technologically and in space as well. This time the show was shot at Studio 4 which provides you big and technically advanced studios.

 In this season on Kripa Unplugged, 10 solo artists will be perfroming along with 16 bands. This season of kripa unplugged started from 29^th September 2014 and will feature on every Monday at 9 pm at Kantipur Television. Similarly, you can watch the re-telecast on 2:30 and 10 : 30 am NST (Nepali Standard time) the following day.

In Nepali music Industry, these days we can see very rare musical activities taking place. Very few artists are on musical tour with very limited audiences. In regard to updating you with Nepali music updates , Astha Tamang Maskey and Rohit shakya are on musical tour with the name Ma Ek Spana Tour 2014.

Astha Tamang Maskey is a renowned name in Nepali Music Industry a precious talent, with full dedication in her work. Astha Tamang Maskey and Rohit shakya has contributed their endless effort in revolutionizing Nepali Music Industry and developing some professionalism. Ma Ek Sapna Tour 2014 is another step in their efforts which is a praise worthy step.

                Astha Tamang Maskey and Rohit Shakya have announced tour dates and venues both inside the country and abroad as well. The Tour will start from Australia and end in England. In this process they have completed their Australian tour which was great success. They performed in The Hi-Fi on May 18, 2014 with another Nepali Famous band Albatross in Melbourne. Similarly on May 24, they were scheduled to play in Brisbane, Australia which was also a successful organizing as well. The final destination for the Tour inside Australia was scheduled for the popular destination with a lot of Nepalese residing – Sydney, where Albatross accompanied them again on the date June 1, 2014.

                We could see Astha Tamang Maskey summarizing the Australian Tour as a successful one in her Officaial Facebook page thanking different persons making the show a success and she also expressed her gratitude to the orgainzers and a promise to visit back soon.

After, Australia the “Ma Ek Sapna Tour 2014” was scheduled in the famous city of India with a massive presence of People with Nepalese ethnicy and culture – Sikkim. The hill station town is one of the best tourist destination people thrive to visit. They were glad to make a visit to Sikkim with their Musical Tour and a grad completion of the tour. The program was held at Cafe Live & Loud, gangtok, Sikkim on June 28.

 Astha Tamang Maskey and Rohit Shakya are back to Nepal with different tour venues in different cities. They will be starting their tour inside Nepal from Chitwan on july 12^th 2014 and on 14^th july in popular tourist destination Pokhara. Similarly they will perform in Birgunj and Kathamdnu followed by a ending performance in England.

In London, they will be performing the Ma Ek Sapna Tour with Naren Limbu. The Coronet Theatre will host the program on July 25^th. On 1^st August they will travel to Leas Cliff Hall Folkestone to entertain the cheering Nepalese Music Lovers. The Final Destination of the “Ma ek Sapna Tour- 2014” will be held at Aldershot at the Princes Hall to give their performance on August 2, 2014. With this performance the Tour will come to the End.
