Nabin K Bhattrai is well known name in Nepali Music
Industry. This name does not need additional explanation in Nepali music. He
has been in this field for more than 20 years. In this period he has brought 13
solo albums with more than 1000 recorded songs in all genre of music.
Recently,
Nabin K Bhattrai has made come back to Nepali Music field again with his latest
solo album named “Slok” which is a Sanskrit driven word which means phrase or a
combination of lines in rhythm. He also told in a curiosity that “Slok” is the
name of his son as well but this has no combination with the name of his album.
It’s no more than a coincidence.

The market of Nepali Music Industry is not very good,
whenever an artist comes up with an album its hard to compensate him with the
costs involved in the overall compensation of the production of the album. He
brought his 14th solo album “slok” to keep and maintain the bond
between him and his fans.
Nabin K Bhattrai returned recently from his programs in
Myanmar and India. He loves to perform most of his shows with his band “Atript”

The name of the albums of Nabin K Bhattrai before this
albums were, “jindagi”, “Raharai Raharma”, “AAbhas”, “Smriti”, “Samjhan”,
“Nabin”, “the blue”, “Smriti Reloaded”. He is a composer, musician, lyricist as
well. In most of his songs he loves to sing the song on his own composition,
music and lyrics as well. He has provided his music in the Nepali Movies too.
Yatra to vegas and challenge were his projects where he composed music . Nabin
K Bhattrai is hopeful with his latest album “Slok”. Stereo Records has taken
the responsibility for the marketing, distribution and promotion of his album.
He has finished a music video for the promotion of this album and will be
premiered on most of the Nepali TV stations
.
We all know Nepali Music is passing through a hard phase at
the moment, it’s very difficult for an artist to survive without some stage
shows , concerts or foreign shows. We rarely see artists performing inside
Nepal as most of the artist prefer performing abroad for Nepalese residing
abroad. The Top band 1974 AD is set to perform in Korea and has left Nepal for
that. Similarly, Deepak Bajrachary and the Rhythm band is also in Australia for
their program.
